Sport-Specific Training
Sport-Specific Training helps athletes connect movement, fundamentals, footwork, body control, reaction, and confidence to the way they actually play their sport.

Built to transfer into game situations
Sport-specific sessions focus on athletic movement, proper mechanics, position fundamentals, footwork, conditioning, and confidence. Each session is built to help athletes transfer their training into game situations.
Tenacity works with athletes ages 4–17, with group clinics typically starting around age 6 and private, homeschool, or introductory movement options available for younger athletes.
We offer training for athletes in
- Football and flag football
- Soccer
- Baseball and softball
- Basketball and volleyball
- Lacrosse and field-based sports
- Multi-sport development
Fundamentals That Match the Sport
Football and Flag
Stance, starts, route footwork, ball carrying, catching, throwing basics, defensive movement, and first-step quickness.
Soccer
First-step speed, closing space, creating separation, deceleration, balance, and change of direction under control.
Baseball and Softball
First-step reaction, lateral movement, throwing position, base running, fielding footwork, and body control.
Court Sports
Short-area quickness, balance, jumping and landing, defensive slides, reaction, spacing, and confidence under pressure.
Not Just Drills From Practice
Many athletes practice their sport but never get coached on how their feet, hips, posture, balance, and reaction affect the play. Tenacity helps athletes understand how movement connects to real moments like creating separation, closing space, changing direction, getting into position, and competing with confidence.
