Movement Foundations for Young Athletes
At ages 4 and 5, training should feel like play, but it should still have purpose. Tenacity helps young athletes learn how to run, jump, balance, stop, start, listen to a coach, follow directions, and feel comfortable being active.
This is not a workout program. It is an introduction to movement, confidence, coordination, and basic sport skills in a positive environment built for young kids.
This is not a sports boot camp. At this age, Tenacity focuses on listening, taking turns, balance, running, jumping, stopping, starting, basic games, confidence, and learning how to enjoy being coached.

Building the First Layer of Athletic Confidence
Young athletes do not need complicated drills. They need simple instruction, short activities, encouragement, and repetition. Every session is built around movement skills that help kids become more confident on the field, court, playground, and in future sports.
- Running, jumping, skipping, hopping, and balancing
- Starting, stopping, and changing direction safely
- Listening, taking turns, and following simple coaching cues
- Throwing, catching, rolling, kicking, and basic ball skills
- Coordination, rhythm, body control, and spatial awareness
- Fun fitness games and movement challenges
- Confidence, effort, and having fun while learning
A Great Starting Point for Young Kids Who Need Movement, Confidence, or Sport Readiness
This age group is best for parents who want their child to get more comfortable moving, playing, listening, and participating. Some kids are already interested in sports. Others are shy, cautious, or still learning how to follow group instruction. Both are okay.
Tenacity meets young athletes where they are and helps them build confidence one step at a time.
- First-time athletes
- Kids who need confidence being active
- Children preparing for soccer, flag football, baseball, basketball, or general sports
- Homeschool students who need structured physical activity
- Kids who benefit from patient, positive coaching
- Parents who want a safe introduction to movement and sport skills
